Airbag Controller Replacement
I needed to replace the airbag controller. The controller unit is apparently only good for one use and since both the airbags had deployed, I replaced it regardless.
The dash must be removed to access the mounting bolts. It cannot be done any other way. The heater core unit blocked access to two of the nuts securing the airbag controller. So it had to come out too so I could replace the airbag controller.
This is the new airbag controller installed.
