NOTICE: Yahoo is trying to hold my pictures ransom that we use here on the blog. So, we are going to create a proper website and drop Yahoo all together. If you access a page on the blog before we get done, some or all the pictures may not appear. However, they will all be back once we finish with creation of the new site. The Mostly MIATA name and mostlymiata.net address will then get you to the new site. Sorry for any inconvenience.

I like restoring things. I began to restore this 1978 Serro Scotty Sportsman camper but I spent the camper budget on the tractor when it had to have a new fuel tank. So, I have let the Sportsman project sit for the past year.

Before I got back to the Sportsman camper project, I found another Scotty. It is a 1990 Serro Scotty 265 that is 26'-6" long. It has a lot more room and is in much better shape than the old Sportsman was in. My wife wants to start traveling with me to various events I attend, so we bought the camper for the extra room and nicer amenities. Now we are working on restoring it instead of the Sportsman.

I will post more detail about the new restoration soon.

Now I must decide what to do with the Sportsman. It may be sold to finance the newer Scotty. Time will tell!
