I have now spent two full days working on the front end of the car.
Here are pictures of the completed passenger's side.

I plugged the hole I had drilled in the driver's side rail with two fender washers bolted together. After welding the perimeter, I melted the bolt in the middle to plug the bolt hole. Then I ground the welds down flush. It looks pretty good. It is normally out of sight so this will do.
I then removed the two front radiator shield mounts from the old bent parts. I had to straighten them and then hold them in place with the aluminum radiator shield. Then I welded them into place and primed them.
The aluminum shield fits!
I think I am finally finished with the welding. Now I need some color!
